The Sunshine Coast Regional District is partnering with MARR
Starting November 1 2022, coast residents will be able to drop off end-of-life large appliances for free at the Pender Harbour Solid Waste Transfer Station and also at the Sechelt Landfill.

2020 MARR Annual Report
The 2020 annual report is now available. We would like to thank all of the collectors, participants, employees, and stakeholders of MARR for your efforts throughout 2020. Although the pandemic affected us greatly, thanks to your efforts we were able to keep the program operating successfully in 2020. We are thankful that we were able to expand the collection network and increase the number of units collected.

Program fee reduction
The board of directors and the management of MARR reviewed financial forecasts for the 2021-2026 fiscal years and the board approved fee reductions recommended by management which will become effective April 1, 2021.

MARR Receives Award from the Canadian Armed Forces
This week MARR was presented with an award from the Canadian Armed Forces for supporting Bill Paton, a CAF Reservist, and the MARR Field Service Manager, during his work with Operation Laser which supported Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Effective January 1, 2019 Encorp offers a full spectrum of operational services to support the end-of-life major household appliances program and has become an official service provider for MARR to assist its Board and management in delivering a successful program under their approved Stewardship Plan.
